Congratulations to the students of Cascade K-8 Community School, Einstein Middle School, and Shorecrest and Shorewood high schools who competed at the Washington Technology Students Association (WTSA) Conference!
April 7-11, we honored all of the Shoreline School District staff who make every day a great place for our students to learn.
"I love working at Edwin Pratt because it feels like a community and a place where children and staff are like family. Excelling at my job for about seven years now has taught me that maintaining a clean and safe environment every single day at Edwin Pratt can make it an enjoyable environment to work and learn from."

We are celebrating All-Staff Appreciation Week in Shoreline Schools. Please join us in thanking them for all that they do for our students!

This week's #OurFutureFriday student is Edwin Pratt Early Learning Center preschooler Caliyah Holley-Rose!
In her second year of preschool, Caliyah is the epitome of an inclusive friend and provides true representation of the Mission and Vision of the Edwin Pratt Early Learning Center! Every morning she comes to school early to wait for the bus that brings her classmates to school and helps them get to their classroom. She is always kind and excited to be a friend to all.
Calliyah says her favorite part about school is waiting for the bus to arrive each morning and helping her friends get to class. She and her mom come early every day so that Caliyah can walk with the students who arrive on the bus. Caliyah would like to be a doctor when she grows up.
Way to go, Caliyah! Your friends are lucky to have such a caring, compassionate classmate! 👏🤩
At Edwin Pratt Early Learning Center, Teacher Mitra read the book "The Colors of Us" to the class. Children then created self portraits, using mirrors to guide their work.
The final project included a classroom portrait wall of student artwork to display, recognize, and celebrate "All the Colors We Are."
